A-Squared is responsible for providing Construction Management Services for All the Public spaces in phase 3, approximately 423,000 square feet. a-squared is the MWBE subcontractor for the Prime- Netta Architects and Fentress Architects. The Justice Complex will house 24 Courtrooms (2 Civil, 10 Criminal, and 12 Family), Hearing and Mediation Rooms, Grand Jury, and Jury Assembly spaces. Courts Administration, the Hudson County Prosecutor, the Surrogate, and the Sheriff’s Department will have office space in the building. Amenities will include a 150-seat public cafeteria, a self-help law library, a children’s play area, and training spaces for staff.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY: A-Squared is responsible for providing Construction Management Services for All public spaces. a-squared is the MWBE subcontractor for the Prime, Netta Architects. A-Squared LLC responsibilities: conduct site visits, review work is in conformance to the design documents, prepare reports documenting progress, coordinate with various stakeholders, review submittals and selections, prepare rolling punch lists to track, correct, and complete interior finish items, prepare a final punch list, that will be tracked and assigned to the various trades. Perform follow-up site visits, as necessary and required, to ensure that all subcontractors have made required corrections. Prepare a final substantial completion report certifying that the constructed interiors have been constructed in accordance with the approved plans and submittals, detailed documents for completeness, and document that.
